POLICY

Salaries for the interim session (which is between the spring semester and the first summer term), and for both regular summer terms are prorated over a period authorized by the department and based on the dates of the terms. Dates of any term--interim, first summer or second summer--which overlap into the next calendar month are considered "overlapping days." Overlapping days are combined with the next day period.

Salaries for interim and summer terms are paid as follows:

  1. Interim Term: Payment is made on the last working day of May. Overlapping days into June are paid on June 15th.

  2. First Summer Term: Payment is prorated on June 15th and June 30th. Overlapping days into July are paid on July 15th.

  3. Second Summer Term: Payment is prorated on July 15th, July 31st, and August 15th. Overlapping days are paid on the last working day of the Second Summer Term.
