POLICY

When securities are transferred to the foundation or university, the donor and development officer shall sign documentation verifying the specific date of actual transfer.  The donor's tax deduction and the foundation or university evaluation should be calculated as the average between the "high" and "low" trade on the date of receipt of the securities in the Office of Development.
