Subject: Night Custodians-Security
POLICY
Night custodians, in addition to their cleaning duties, shall provide
additional security for buildings and property.

The university recognizes the legitimate presence of faculty, staff and
some students in buildings after 11 p.m. and before 7 a.m.

Custodians have the authority to question any unfamiliar
person present in a building if it seems inappropriate for them to be there.
They may ask for identification and write down that information, or call
University Police for assistance, if in their judgment it is warranted.
