Subject: Purchase or Gift of Special Equipment

The purchase or gift of equipment requiring utility connections or special environmental or other conditions should involve specialized planning prior to purchasing the equipment or accepting the gift. The Assistant Vice Chancellor for Facilities should be contacted for assistance and input.

All modifications for equipment are charged to the department accepting or purchasing the item.
